Privacy
BrazilCheck is built to need as little of your data as possible. This page describes, in plain language, what we actually collect and why.
What we collect
The CNPJ you look up, and — only if you purchase a report — your email address and payment details (processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number). See Stripe’s own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy for how they handle payment data. We do not require an account and do not track you across other sites.
What we do with it
Your email is used solely to deliver your report and send you the download link. The CNPJ you look up is used to query public Brazilian government registries and international sanctions lists in real time — we do not maintain a database of every company anyone has looked up.
How long we keep it
Report download links expire after 90 days. We do not retain your email beyond what is needed to support a purchase (delivery, receipts, and responding if something goes wrong). We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.
The report itself
A purchased report reflects public-registry data at the moment it was generated. We do not re-check or notify you if a company’s status changes after purchase — this is a point-in-time snapshot, not ongoing monitoring.
Legal framework
This product is hosted in Brazil (São Paulo region) and operated under LGPD (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados). EU-based buyers: your email address is the only personal data we hold, it is stored in Brazil, and it is deleted within 90 days of your purchase. We do not transfer it to third parties outside Brazil except to Stripe (payment processing) and Resend (email delivery), both of which operate under their own data-processing agreements.
